Unless I'm mistaken, there is no test that can detect HGH.

you can test for it in a blood test. espn said that last night. i think there's a clause or something in baseball's collective bargaining agreement that prohibits blood testing. i want to think that was put in there due to aids and other communicable diseases.

Re: roids report at 2pm today

Regardless, unless a substance is an anabolic steriod, IMO it should be legal...it isn't like players can't afford it. Also, synthetic enhancers can be chalked up to technological advances that changed the game... Players have used performance enhancers for a long, long time and they shouldn't be confused with steriods. After all, if the substances were available at GNC (as some were ie. andro) why shouldn't they have used them. Sport is nothing more than competition..and many players will look for an edge. Steriods were deemed to be the causes of cancers and other health problems. That is why they were banned. So, if a substance isn't a steriod..or wasn't calssified as a steriod until recently (thus, not deemed a steriod when these guys used it) there should be nothing said or done. Just cuz Jose Canseco is a lil crybaby biotch, it doesn't change the game.

you do realize that synthetic enhancers are basically anabolic steroids?

so why should one be legal and the other not be?

the health issue cant be used here because the long term health effects of synthetic stuff isnt known yet.......but for all anybody knows could be same, or worse

Re: roids report at 2pm today

Bottom line Babe Ruth did it with hot dogs and beer you cant say the same about these guys. I have a hard time believing that Barry Bonds is a hall of famer, I wouldn't vote for him. In this country we normally go by precedents, Rose no hall of fame, Shoeless Joe Jackson, no hall of fame, etc. I just dont see it, you tarnish the game you pay the price. Ban all these guys for life and lets move on with the game of baseball the way it is meant to be played. It's pretty much to the point where they have pissed of everyone who is not a diehard fan anyway. Out of men ranging from 18-30 how many do you know that are die hard mlb baseball fans? I know of two, and thats including myself.
